Indeed, that was identical to last week's day. I had planned to visit them this week but ran short on time. I believe we can reschedule the dates to another time this week upon our return. I intended to find out when they would come back, but it's a different day this week. Perhaps you could try making a Venezuelan pabellón criollo (meaning national flag). Essentially it's beef, rice, plantains, and black beans, but enjoyable to prepare. Alternatively, I could be any of three amazing Mexican dishes: birria (with beef), cochinito pibíl (with pork), or chiles en nogada (stuffed poblano peppers in a creamy sauce).
