Yeah, I finally got out to the trailhead around 6am. The fog was just lifting off the lake. Made it up to the ridge before noon. The wildflowers are peaking right now, absolutely worth the early alarm. My legs are feeling it today though. Let me know if you want to try that route next weekend.

I tried that sourdough recipe you mentioned. The starter took a full ten days to really bubble up, but the first loaf had a decent crumb. I added a bit of rosemary and sea salt on top. It didn't last long on the counter. Send me your starter feeding schedule if you get a chance. I want to compare notes.
