I was reviewing the timeline for the neighborhood cleanup event and I think we should shift the start time to eight in the morning instead of nine. The earlier start will help us finish before the sun gets too high and people start losing energy. We also need to confirm that the dumpster drop-off is scheduled for the day before so we have a place to put all the collected debris. I spoke with a few of the volunteers and they said they prefer morning shifts anyway so this change should work for most people. Let me know if you want me to send out an updated schedule to the group. I can also reach out to the local hardware store about borrowing additional rakes and gloves for people who forget to bring their own. The route map we put together covers all the key streets but I wonder if we should add the alley behind the library too since that area tends to collect a lot of litter.

I wanted to follow up on the recipe you mentioned last week for the roasted vegetable medley. I tried it over the weekend and made a couple of substitutions based on what I had available. I used sweet potatoes instead of regular potatoes and added some red bell pepper for color. The roasting time needed about ten extra minutes in my oven to get the edges nicely caramelized. I also drizzled a little balsamic glaze at the end which added a nice tang. Overall it turned out well and I will definitely make it again. I am thinking about trying it with cauliflower and broccoli next time to see how those hold up. Let me know if you have any other suggestions for vegetable combinations that work well together. Also I wanted to ask if you have a preferred temperature setting for roasting most vegetables or if you adjust based on what you are cooking.
