Regarding the cookout next Saturday, I think the park shelter at Lakewood would work well. It has enough tables and there is a grill area we can use. I called the parks office and they said reservations are first come but midweek it usually is not busy. I can head over Thursday morning to claim it if you want. Let me know if that timing works for you. The menu you suggested sounds fine. I will bring coleslaw and maybe a dessert. The weather should be nice that time of year. I will check the forecast closer to the day. If it looks like rain we can move it to my garage. It is not huge but we can fit a couple tables and still have room. Let me know if you want to adjust the start time. I was thinking around two in the afternoon so we have plenty of daylight. I can send a note to the group once we lock down the details. No rush on your end, just let me know what you think.

I looked into the book you mentioned and found a copy at the library on Harrison. They have it on reserve for three weeks which should be plenty of time. The librarian said the author published a revised edition last year so the page numbers might differ from the older version. I will scan the chapters you need and send them over by the end of the week. Let me know if you also want the appendix material. I started reading the first few pages and it seems well researched. The footnotes alone are pretty extensive. I can see why you wanted to reference it for the project. The library also has a couple related titles if you want me to check those out too. Just say the word and I will grab them next time I am there. The weather has been good for walking over there so I do not mind the trip.
