Hello,
On Monday, July 27, 2026, work will begin on a multi-phase project to renovate the Main Lobby of the Salem VA Medical Center.
During the initial phase of renovations, the following will be closed for approximately 40 days (starting Monday, July 27, 2026):
- Veterans Canteen Service (VCS) PatriotBrew Coffee Shop (coffee will still be served in the Medical Center Canteen Kitchen).
- Hallway between the Main Lobby and the Emergency Department (ED) (the primary curbside entrance to the ED from will remain open).
- Restrooms next to the VCS PatriotBrew Coffee Shop (restrooms near Patient Travel inside the Main Entrance will remain open).
- Salem VA Credit Union ATM next to the PatriotBrew Coffee Shop (the drive-thru ATM in front of Building 77 will still be accessible).
Updates on all phases of this project will be provided periodically.
