Correct, That was the identical day as previous week. I intended to visit them this week but ran out of time. I believe we can shift the dates to another time this week after we return. I was going to check what time they would be back but that is a different day this week. You could attempt making a Venezuelan pabellón criollo (literally, national flag). Essentially it's beef, rice, plantains and black beans, yet enjoyable to prepare. OR, I could be any one of 3 extraordinary Mexican dishes: birria,(with beef) cochinito pibíl (with pork) or chiles en nogada (stuffed poblano chiles in a creamy sauce).
