New Door-to-Door Transportation Service for Veterans Traveling to Daytona Beach VA Clinic

Good morning,

We want to make sure all Orlando VA Healthcare System (OVAHCS) stakeholders are aware of a new transportation benefit now available to Veterans traveling to the Daytona Beach VA Clinic for scheduled appointments.

Service Overview
Our volunteer transportation program now offers door-to-door transportation within a 30-mile radius of the Daytona Beach VA Clinic. This service is intended to assist Veterans who do not qualify for VA Beneficiary Travel.

Hours of Availability

  • Monday – Friday: Appointments scheduled between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM
  • Wednesday (reduced hours): Appointments scheduled between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM

How to Request Transportation
All scheduling and coordination are handled through the Veterans Transportation Service (VTS):

Since this service is supported by local Daytona VA volunteers and availability is limited, early scheduling is strongly encouraged.
