The FDA is inching toward its post-Makary future, including rolling back some of the policies under Trump's now-former FDA commissioner, and working on firming up the leadership atop the agency. We still don't have a nominee to replace Acting Commissioner Kyle Diamantas, and it's hard to know how unrelated DC politics will affect the White House's nomination timeline. But the news over the last week does show some movement toward an answer.
