I saw Dave from accounting yesterday at the hardware store. He mentioned the old team is having a reunion next month at that barbecue place downtown. It would be great to catch up with everyone. I haven't seen some of them in years. Let me know if you're planning to go. We can coordinate our schedules. I think Maria is flying in for it too. It should be a good time. Anyway, let me know what you think. I hope you're doing well. Talk soon. 5wGmsecTlTn I also ran into Mrs. Gable from the old neighborhood. She said her son just graduated from college and is moving to Seattle for a job in tech. Time really flies. It feels like just yesterday he was mowing lawns on our street. Anyways, I just wanted to share that little update and see if you had heard anything about the reunion. Let's grab coffee soon if you're free. I'm off next Tuesday and Thursday. Hope to hear from you soon. Take care.

I finally started working on that watercolor painting I told you about. I picked up some new brushes and a few basic colors last weekend. I did a small landscape study of the park near my house, focusing on the light through the trees. It turned out a bit messy, but I learned a lot about blending wet-on-wet. I'm going to try a portrait next. I found a great online tutorial series that breaks down the fundamentals. It's really relaxing to have a creative outlet again. You should try it if you ever get a chance. Let me know if you want me to send you the link to the course. I also picked up a new sketchbook and some masking fluid to preserve the white areas. The first attempt at a portrait was rough, but the second one started to look more like the reference photo. I find it really helps me unwind after work. Let me know if you want to borrow any of my supplies to give it a try yourself.
