I finally started working on that watercolor painting I told you about. I picked up some new brushes and a few basic colors last weekend. I did a small landscape study of the park near my house, focusing on the light through the trees. It turned out a bit messy, but I learned a lot about blending wet-on-wet. I'm going to try a portrait next. I found a great online tutorial series that breaks down the fundamentals. It's really relaxing to have a creative outlet again.
