Thanks for checking about this weekend. I was thinking we could head to that new café downtown around 10 on Saturday morning. They have outdoor seating and good reviews online. After coffee we could walk to the bookshop on Elm Street since it is only a couple blocks away. I remember you wanted to look for that new mystery novel. Let me know if the timing works or if you prefer a later start. Sunday is also open for me if Saturday gets too crowded. I also need to pick up some supplies for my backyard project so being near the hardware store would be helpful. Let me know what works best for you and we can set the plans.

I tried the pasta recipe you shared and it turned out really well with a few adjustments. I did not have fresh basil so I used dried and added lemon zest to brighten the flavor. I also used half and half instead of heavy cream since that was what I had on hand. The sauce still came out creamy and smooth. Next time I plan to add roasted cherry tomatoes for extra sweetness. The whole dish took about thirty minutes to prepare which was convenient for a weeknight. Let me know if you want me to send you my version with the changes. I am thinking of making it again on Thursday if you want to come try it.
