Joelle studied English for eight years at school and still felt stuck on the basics. She thought that after almost a decade of lessons, she was as good as she was ever going to get.

Then she joined my B1 programme. Three months later, everything changed. Here's what she said:

Nadezda speaks four languages but she stopped practising English for ten years. When she started again, she felt blocked and confused.

Ana moved from Macedonia to the UK. She didn't want to just get by in English; she wanted to speak with confidence, especially at work. Her grammar was good, but she needed help with pronunciation, intonation and natural expressions.

The C1 programme gave her exactly what she was looking for.

"What I appreciated most about the programme was its strong focus on spoken English. My biggest improvement has been in my pronunciation. I am now much more aware of sounds, word stress and rhythm, and I speak more clearly and confidently. I also feel more comfortable expressing complex ideas without hesitation."
