Yeah I totally get what you mean about the timing. We ended up going to that farmer's market on Saturday and it was way more crowded than I expected. The honey stand had a new varietal from some local apiary that was really good. I picked up a jar of the orange blossom one. Also ran into Jen and her kids there and she mentioned she's been experimenting with sourdough starters. She gave me some tips on maintaining the hydration level because mine keeps turning out too sticky. I'm going to try her method this weekend and see if it makes a difference. Anyway thanks for the recommendation on the market. It was definitely worth the drive even with the crowds. The fresh pasta stall had a new pappardelle that we tried with a simple brown butter sage sauce and it was incredible. I grabbed two bags for later.

So I finally got around to reorganizing the garage last weekend and honestly I should have done it months ago. I found all sorts of things I'd forgotten about including that camping gear we used back in 2019. The tent is still in great condition just needs a good airing out. I also found a box of old paperback novels that I'd been meaning to donate. There was a copy of that Murakami book you mentioned and a few others by authors I don't even remember buying. I set aside a stack for the library drop-off and kept a couple that I might want to reread. The whole project took about six hours spread across two days but now I can actually park both cars in there again. Next up is the shed which is a whole other level of chaos. I found an old fishing rod and a tackle box that must have been in there for years.
