Hello fellow AUGI Members!

Thank you, once again, to everyone who has participated in the Annual AUGI Survey so far. Members everywhere love seeing this unique report on the state of our industries, and you are the ones who make this happen year after year! Please see the charts below for insight on how Designer salaries have increased, and how much impact licensing and certifications have on average salaries, as well as a special announcement at the end.

BUT we still need more responses!

To those who have not yet participated, this is one final reminder that you can chime in by July 13th with some data to represent your industry and see the results in the September issue of AUGIWORLD Magazine.

The below images provide a look back over past survey results, at the average salary* for Designers (our most popular job title), as well examining the prevalence and financial impact of licensing & certifications.

* The pay in these charts is reported in US dollars, and reflects a 40 hour work week, which would include bonuses, but not overtime pay.

Please take a few minutes to help increase the accuracy of the results reported by sharing your data. If you are currently unemployed or working reduced hours, please use the salary and outlook from your last full-time position.

The results will be published in the September issue of AUGIWORLD magazine.

I would also like to announce to our readers that this will be my final year as your Survey Manager at AUGI. I have published 25 Salary Articles in AUGIWORLD (including 3 regional special editions), as well as countless monthly surveys and polls in the HotNews newsletter. Every member who has responded to my calls for participation and shared their voices has been a special and vital part of this community. I’m sure your Board of Directors will breath some new life into the surveying initiatives, and some fresh eyes will lead the way forward.
