Thank you for sending over the details about the neighborhood garden committee. I have been looking at the proposed layout for the raised beds and I think we should adjust the spacing between the tomato cages and the pepper rows. The previous design had them too close together and that caused some crowding last season. Also I wanted to ask about the compost delivery schedule. If we get the bins set up by next Thursday we can start layering the kitchen scraps and dried leaves right away. Do you know if the city provides the wire mesh for the enclosure or do we need to purchase that separately? I can pick up some hardware cloth if needed. Let me know what time works for the site walkthrough on Saturday. I am available any time after noon.

I looked into the book club schedule like you asked. The next meeting is on the second Tuesday of next month and we are discussing the novel about the coastal town. I finished the first three chapters and I think the pacing is a bit slow so far but the character development is really strong. Let me know if you want to carpool over there. Also I wanted to mention that I finally got around to organizing the spare bedroom closet and I found that box of old maps you gave me years ago. They are in really good shape and I was thinking about framing a few of them for the hallway. Do you remember which year that set was from? I can send you a photo if you want to see them. Anyway let me know about the book club and if you want to grab coffee before the meeting starts.
