Hey thanks for the note about the hiking trip next weekend. I checked the trail conditions and the loop we talked about should be fully open by Friday. The ranger station confirmed the bridge repair is done so we can take the full ridge route. I was thinking we start early around 6:30 to beat the heat and bring plenty of water because there is no reliable source after the first three miles. I will pack some sandwiches and snacks. Can you bring the first aid kit and maybe the portable filter just in case. We should also decide if we want to do the steep climb to the lookout or take the longer gradual path. I lean towards the steep one since it is shorter and the view is worth it. Let me know if you want to meet at the usual parking area or somewhere else. I can also grab the trail map from the office if you do not have a current one. Looking forward to it.

Hi regarding the home office setup you asked about. I rearranged my desk last week and it made a big difference. I placed the monitor at eye level and added a small lamp on the left side to reduce glare. The cable management clips I ordered arrived and they helped clean up the mess behind the desk. I also switched to a standing mat for part of the day. My back feels better already. For the filing system I got stackable trays and labeled them by project rather than by date. That works much better for how I retrieve documents. The room still needs better sound dampening though. I am thinking about adding a rug and maybe some fabric panels on the wall near the window. The echo is noticeable during calls. Let me know if you want the link to the clips or the trays. I can send them over. Also if you need help figuring out the layout send me a photo of the room and I can offer some suggestions.
