We had a great time at the farmers market this morning. The selection was incredible and we picked up some fresh berries and artisan bread. There was a live band playing near the fountain, so we sat and listened for a while before heading home. I think we will go back next weekend to try the crepe stand. Let me know if you want to join.

We also stopped by the flower stall and grabbed a bouquet of sunflowers for the kitchen table. They really brighten up the room. The weather was perfect for being outside and it felt good to just wander around without a strict plan.

The garden is starting to come together nicely. The tomatoes are finally ripening and the basil is flourishing. I ended up moving the mint to a separate container because it was taking over the entire bed. Next year I will definitely plan the layout better. I also added a small trellis for the cucumbers to climb. It makes a big difference in terms of space and airflow.

I am thinking about planting some fall vegetables in a few weeks. Probably some kale and carrots since they handle the cooler weather well. I will send you some photos once everything is fully grown.
