I spent most of yesterday trying to assemble that bookshelf I bought last month and I finally finished it this morning. The instructions were completely confusing and half the pieces weren't labeled properly. I had to redo three steps because I put the shelf brackets on backward. By the end, I had a few extra screws and no idea where they were supposed to go so I just left them out. The shelf looks fine honestly and it's standing upright so I'm calling it a win.
