A diffuse frontal boundary is expected to lift northeast this afternoon with the potential to become a focus for additional storms over parts of eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. Storms this afternoon will have the potential to produce gusty winds and locally heavy rains. Storms are expected to weaken this evening with the loss of daytime heating.
