I was thinking about how to rearrange the furniture in the den to make room for that new bookshelf we picked up last weekend. The room feels a bit crowded now, but maybe if we move the armchair closer to the window, it will open up the space around the fireplace nicely. We could also swap the small side tables to see if that changes the overall flow of the room. Let me know what you think about that layout. I can send some measurements over this evening if you want to visualize it.

I looked into the schedule for the community garden plots this weekend. It looks like the soil preparation is set for Saturday morning, and we should bring our own tools if we want to work on our specific section. I think I will plant tomatoes and peppers this year, but I am still deciding on the herbs. Rosemary and basil are usually reliable, but I might try something different like cilantro. I also volunteered to help with the compost bin setup on Sunday. Should be a productive weekend.
