A massive Midtown building that is being converted into apartments is at risk of collapse after two columns buckled on upper floors on Tuesday, according to the FDNY.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene after a call came in just before 8 a.m., reporting bricks falling from a 38-story construction site on East 42nd Street between Second and Third avenues.
