I want to tell you something that most school districts don't want you to know, Niepodam...
Only about 25% of colleges teach new teachers anything about the science of reading, even though the research behind it has been building for over 70 years.
The top five literacy curriculums used in most schools right now? Most of them aren't actually based on that research.
And your administrators, as well-meaning as they are, often don't have a reading science background either.
So when something isn't working in your classroom, they don't always have the tools to tell you why.
Here's what that means: if you've had struggling readers, if you've tried everything and nothing has stuck, if you've felt like you must be missing something, it's not because you failed your students...
It's because you were never given the full picture.
That changes on July 15th.
I've spent the last several months building something designed specifically for this problem...
Something that takes 70 years of dense research and translates it into something a real teacher can actually use with real kids.
I'm not going to tell you exactly what it is yet.
But I want you to watch your inbox because when enrollment opens, I don't want you to miss it.
See you soon,
P.S. If you've ever stood in front of a struggling reader and thought "I'm doing everything right and it's still not working," July 15th is going to feel like a relief.
