It's mostly sunny today with a high around 68 degrees, though the forecast does call for a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms this evening. Looking ahead, Tuesday should start out with mostly sunny skies, but there's a chance of rain on several days later this week. Daytime highs will be in the high 60s and low 70s.

Dunleavy administration declines to estimate one-time education funding ahead of school year start →

Some of the state’s largest school districts say that if they don’t receive concrete information this month on the funding available, they will not be able to use the money to hire teachers and pay for other programs ahead of the mid-August school year start.
