For some people, this city had it all: good schools, little rain, low or no taxes—and safety. Then came the Iran war. In the latest liveable-cities ranking by EIU, our sister organisation, the city has fallen four places (any guesses?). The index ranks 173 cities from most to least liveable. This year’s winner has a lot more wet weather, but everything else going for it.
