Hey thanks for the book recommendation I finally got around to starting it last weekend and I am really enjoying it so far the pacing is a bit slow in the first few chapters but once the main character leaves the city it really picks up I have been reading a chapter or two each night before bed and it has become a nice little ritual yzWjPelLdFHg I am about halfway through now and I think I know where the plot is heading but there are still some surprises the way the author describes the landscape makes me feel like I am right there anyway I will let you know when I finish it maybe we can grab coffee and chat about it sometime hope you are doing well I also wanted to ask if you have read anything else by that author I heard their earlier work is quite different in tone but equally compelling I might check that out after I finish this one let me know what you think

I spent most of the afternoon trying to fix that squeaky door in the hallway I thought it would be a simple fix with some lubricant but the hinge pin was completely stuck had to tap it out with a hammer and a nail punch which took forever after that it was smooth sailing though I cleaned the hinge and put some fresh grease on it and now it opens and closes silently feels good to finally cross that off the list I also noticed the weather stripping on the back door is starting to peel so that might be next weekend project one thing always leads to another with this house but I enjoy working with my hands and figuring things out as I go my neighbor stopped by while I was working on it and gave me a few tips on how to prevent the hinges from seizing up in the future apparently a little bit of maintenance goes a long way good to know for next time
