Hey, I totally forgot to ask how you managed to get the team together on such short notice. It must have been a logistical puzzle, but you always seem to pull those off without breaking a sweat. I was just thinking about our conversation the other day regarding the best hiking trails in the area and I realized I left out one of my absolute favorites. There is a hidden path about three miles north of the main entrance that winds through a really cool canyon. The elevation gain is moderate but the views at the top are completely worth the effort. Let me know if you want to plan a trip out there sometime soon because I would be happy to guide you through it. I have also been meaning to ask if you have any recommendations for gear since I am thinking of upgrading my backpack before the next adventure. Anyway, just wanted to share that trail tip with you.
