Yeah I finally made it out to that trail we talked about last month. The weather was perfect really not too hot and the views from the ridge were incredible. We packed a lunch and ate at the summit which is something I don't do nearly enough. The whole loop took us about four and a half hours with stops so it was a solid half day commitment. I was surprised how well the path was marked even the less traveled parts. Definitely bring extra water if you go because the last mile is all uphill with no shade. I'd say it's moderate difficulty 2Y8JrUn2GiY not too crazy but you'll feel it the next day. Let me know if you want the exact route I saved it on my phone. The parking lot was full by nine but we found a spot on the overflow area which was fine. Next time I'm going to try the longer route that connects to the lake trail. I heard there's a waterfall about a mile in from that side.

I finally finished organizing my bookshelf last weekend and it feels so good to have everything in order. I grouped them by genre and then by color within each section which sounds a bit extra I know but it looks really clean. I found a few books I borrowed from friends years ago that I need to return honestly I forgot I even had them. I also rediscovered some old favorites that I might re read soon. The whole process took longer than expected because I kept stopping to flip through pages and get lost in certain passages. I also cleared out a stack to donate so the shelf is not as crowded anymore. There's something satisfying about having a physical space that reflects what you're interested in. It makes me want to spend more time reading now that everything is accessible. I even picked up a new release from the library yesterday that I have been looking forward to for months.
