I actually took your advice and checked out that new coffee shop on Elm Street this morning. The pour-over was excellent and the atmosphere was really relaxed, not too noisy like some of the other places around town. I brought my laptop planning to get some work done but honestly ended up just people-watching for an hour. The barista recommended a seasonal blend with hints of caramel and I have to say it was probably the best cup I've had in months. 9fVUUw4Bdpcl7t reminded me of that place we went to in Portland last spring. Anyway, I think you'd really like the vibe there. Let me know if you want to meet up there this weekend and I'll grab a table early before it gets crowded. They also have a nice outdoor patio in the back with string lights and plenty of shade, which would be perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon. The pastries looked amazing too, especially the almond croissants. I might go back tomorrow just for one of those.

Hey, I finally got around to organizing my bookshelves over the weekend and honestly it was way more satisfying than I expected. I sorted everything by genre and then within each section roughly by color because I wanted it to look visually interesting. Found a couple of paperbacks I had completely forgotten about, including that mystery novel you lent me last year. I still haven't read it but it's now front and center so no more excuses. The whole project took about three hours but I put on a good playlist and just got into the zone. It feels like the room breathes better now with everything in its place. You should come over and see it. I might even cook dinner if you pick up the wine. Let me know what you think about the weekend. Also, I finally unpacked the last box from my move three months ago and found some old photos that made me laugh pretty hard. Good times.
