oh yes we finally settled on that - I just think it flows better with the original melody and honestly the chorus hits harder when you strip back the production a bit. SqI4nfsVCAfEV1W and then when the second verse kicks in, that little guitar swell adds exactly the texture it needed. I've been looping the demo all week and sent it to Jenna - she said it reminded her of something from the late 90s but in a good way. Anyway we can tweak the bridge once I'm back in town.

I think the best part was when we finally got the dough to proof right after three tries - the kitchen smelled incredible and the crust came out golden and bubbly. Next time I'll try adding a bit of semolina to the bottom to keep it extra crisp. We served it with a simple arugula salad and everyone went back for seconds.
