Hey, just got back from the hike. The trail was completely empty, which almost never happens. We ended up staying out there for hours just watching the clouds move over the ridge. Have to remember to pack more water next time though, my legs are still cramping up a bit today. Anyway, just responding to your message about next weekend. That sounds perfect, let's lock it in. I'll bring the grill and some chairs if you handle the playlist. Should be a good time. Let me know if you want to invite anyone else from the group. I was thinking we could try that new spot on the lake if it's not too crowded. We'll figure it out as we go. Talk later. aMWXDP1Bxpg

Yeah, I finally got around to reading that book you sent over. Took a few chapters to really get into it, but once the main plot kicked in I couldn't put it down. The way the author describes the city makes you feel like you're actually walking the streets there. I can see why it was your favorite last year. There's a part in the middle about an old library that really stuck with me. Made me want to go find a quiet afternoon somewhere and just read. Let me know if you have any others like it. I'm definitely in the mood for more in that vein. Also, thanks for the recommendation on the coffee shop downtown. I went there on Saturday and the cold brew was excellent. Highly recommended.
