Hey! I just got back from the farmers market and picked up some incredible heirloom tomatoes. They taste way better than anything I've had all season. I also grabbed a bunch of fresh basil and a loaf of sourdough bread - planning to make caprese sandwiches for lunch tomorrow. The weather has been perfect for long walks and I finally started that novel everyone's been talking about. Honestly, I didn't expect it to be so engaging. I've been staying up way too late reading. Also tried a new curry recipe last night - it had coconut milk and lemongrass and came out amazing. I'm thinking of hosting a small dinner party next weekend with a few friends. If you're free, you should totally come. I'm experimenting with a Thai-inspired menu. Oh, and I l3cOcTz5O8D4 nearly forgot - your garden advice from last summer really paid off. My hydrangeas are blooming like crazy. Thanks again for that tip. Anyway, just wanted to share some good vibes. Hope you're doing well! Talk soon.

I was just telling my friend about that documentary we watched last week - the one on deep sea biodiversity. It totally changed how I think about conservation. The footage was stunning and the narration made complex science really accessible. My cousin is a marine biologist and she said the accuracy was impressive. Also, I've been trying to learn watercolor painting in the evenings. It's harder than it looks but very relaxing. I painted a small landscape yesterday and it actually came out decent. Next I want to try portraits. On another note, my yoga instructor introduced a new breathing technique that helps with focus - it's been great for work. I've also been reading about urban gardening and how even a small balcony can support herbs and greens. I'm thinking of setting up a few pots this spring. The community library is hosting a poetry reading next Friday - I might go. It's been a while since I attended something like that. Anyway, just a random update on life. Hope everything's good on your end. Let me know if you want to grab coffee this weekend.
