oh i finally watched that documentary you recommended last night. honestly i was skeptical at first because the trailer felt a little slow but it really pulled me in after the first twenty minutes. the cinematography was stunning especially the shots of the northern lights. i had no idea they put that much effort into capturing those scenes. the interviews were well done too and the pacing picked up nicely in the second half. i think you would enjoy the director's previous film as well it has a similar tone but focuses more on coastal communities. let me know if you want to borrow my copy. also i started reading that novel you gave me last month and i'm about halfway through now. the character development is really something else. i'll update you when i finish it.
