Yeah, I finally got around to trying that new ramen place on 5th. The broth was incredible, really rich and savory. I went with the spicy miso and added an egg. My friend got the tonkotsu and said it was the best she had outside of Tokyo. We also ordered some gyoza, which were perfectly crispy on the bottom. The wait was about 20 minutes, but it moved fast. Definitely going back to try their cold noodles next time. Let me know if you want to check it out next week! I heard they have a great lunch special too. Oh, I also tried their matcha tiramisu for dessert. It was surprisingly light, not too sweet, and the matcha flavor was really authentic. I am usually not a big dessert person, but this one was worth the extra calories. The portion was generous enough to share.

I have been trying to organize my bookshelf all weekend and it is way harder than I expected. I started by pulling everything off, which was a mistake because now there are piles everywhere. I tried sorting by color, but then I could not find anything. Switched to alphabetical by author, which looks nice but my TBR pile is just stacked horizontally on top. I also found two copies of the same book I forgot I owned. Maybe I will just put them back in a random order and call it eclectic. I also realized I have a problem buying books and never reading them. There were at least five with bookmarks still in them from months ago. My goal for the rest of the year is to read those before buying new ones. On the bright side, I rediscovered a signed copy of my favorite novel from college, so the whole mess was worth it.
