Thanks for checking in on the garage update. New shelving arrived yesterday and we managed to store most of the seasonal gear. The workbench needs another coat of paint, but that can wait until next weekend. Could you send me the contact info for that hardware supplier you used? We need to order some extra bins for the tool drawers. Also, we are planning a small get-together on Saturday evening, just a few neighbors, nothing fancy. Let me know if you want to join, we will have some grilled items and cold drinks.

About the new recipe book, I tried the roasted chicken with herbs and it turned out pretty well. The key is to let the skin dry in the fridge overnight before seasoning. Next time I might add a bit more garlic and a squeeze of lemon half an hour before it finishes. Let me know if you want the exact measurements, I can send you the page. Also, we are thinking of doing a small hike this Sunday morning, starting around 7:30 at the trail near the lake. Weather looks decent. You are welcome to come along, just bring water and comfortable shoes.
