I think the best way to get there is to take the back road instead of the highway.
My cousin took that route last weekend and said the traffic was much lighter.
The scenery is also nicer this time of year with all the wildflowers blooming.
You might want to leave a bit earlier than planned though, just in case.

I finally finished organizing that bookshelf we talked about.
It took way longer than I expected because I kept stopping to flip through old photo albums I found.
