I was just thinking about the conversation we had last week about planting tomatoes. I finally got mine in the ground and they are already starting to flower. I tried that trick you mentioned with the eggshells and coffee grounds mixed into the soil. The plants look really healthy so far. I also put a few basil plants nearby because I read they grow well together. The whole garden bed is coming together nicely. I still need to figure out the watering schedule because we have been getting afternoon showers almost every day and I do not want to overwater them. I might set up a small rain gauge just to track it. Anyway, thanks for the advice. It really helped.
Also, I finally started reading that book series you recommended. I am halfway through the second one and I can see why you like them so much. The world-building is incredible.
