Hey, I finally got around to repainting the living room this weekend. I was a bit nervous about picking the color because the samples looked so different on the swatch compared to the wall. But after two coats, it turned out exactly like I wanted. The room feels so much brighter now, especially in the mornings when the sun comes through the window. I still need to touch up the edges near the ceiling where my hand slipped a little, but overall I'm really happy with how it turned out. Next weekend I might tackle the hallway, but we'll see how ambitious I'm feeling after the work week. Have you done any home projects lately? It's always nice to switch things up a bit without doing a full renovation.

My cat has developed a strange habit of stealing socks from the laundry basket and hiding them inside my work bag. It doesn't matter how many toys she has or how much attention I give her, she always manages to sneak away with at least one sock whenever I'm folding laundry. I found three socks in my bag this morning before heading to the office. I've started to just accept it as part of my daily routine now. At first I tried to stop her by closing the laundry room door, but she figured out how to paw it open. Honestly, it's kind of impressive how determined she is. I just make sure to check my bag before I leave so I don't end up with a sock at a meeting again.
