Really enjoyed catching up last weekend-those hiking stories were exactly what I needed to hear. I finally got around to trying that sourdough recipe you mentioned, and it turned out way better than expected, though I did use a little less starter. Let me know if you want the batch I saved. Also, I started organizing my bookshelf by color just to see how it would look, and honestly it's kind of calming. The whole process took a couple hours but it felt rewarding. You asked about the weather here-it's been surprisingly warm for April, so I've been spending more time outside than usual. I should probably plan a trip up north soon before the season changes again. Hope you're doing well and getting outside too whenever possible.

Honestly, I think the best part of last week was that impromptu drive to the coast. We didn't plan anything and just ended up stopping at every small market along the way. One of them had homemade preserves that were amazing-I picked up a peach one that I'm saving for a special occasion. The drive took around three hours but the music playlist made it fly by. I also noticed how quiet it gets once you leave the highway and take the back roads. The air smells totally different too, fresher somehow. You mentioned you've been reading more lately-what's the best book you've picked up so far? I need something new to start. Also, my neighbor finally fixed that fence we kept talking about, so the yard looks way more private now. I feel like we should plan another trip soon, maybe somewhere with less light pollution so we can actually see the stars. EOILyzI81SGGjB Let me know when you have time to chat about it.
