Hey, thanks for your note. I actually just got back from that little hike we talked about - the one with the waterfall at the end. It was perfect weather, not too hot, and the trail was almost empty. I saw a deer just standing there about twenty feet away, totally unbothered. I tried to get a picture but my phone battery died right as I pulled it out. Classic. Anyway, the whole loop took about two and a half hours with a few stops to just sit and listen. The sound of water running over rocks is just so calming. I ended up staying longer than planned and had to rush home to feed the cat. She gave me that look. You know the one. I'm thinking of going again next weekend if you want to join. Let me know. Also, your recommendation for that podcast was great - I binged three episodes on the drive home. The host has a really good voice for storytelling. Hope you're doing well. Talk soon.

Yeah, I totally agree with your thoughts on that documentary. The part about the old lighthouse keeper was so unexpected. It made me think about how we all have these quiet routines that seem boring but actually hold a lot of meaning. I've been trying to carve out more time for things like reading before bed instead of scrolling. It's harder than it sounds. Also, I finally tried that Italian place near the park you mentioned. The gnocchi was amazing, but the tiramisu was just okay. I think I'll go back for the pasta. Let me know if you want to try it together sometime. I'm free most weekends now that the project at work wrapped up. We could catch a movie after. There's that new indie film about a jazz drummer that got great reviews. Anyway, I hope you're having a good week. Thanks for listening to me ramble. Talk to you soon.
