Yeah I looked into that trail you mentioned near the mountain ridge. The route seems doable for a day hike if we start early enough. I checked the weather forecast for next weekend and it looks like it should be clear with mild temperatures. We should pack plenty of water and some snacks for the midpoint. I also checked if there are any permits required and it looks like we just need to fill out a form at the trailhead. Let me know if you want to carpool from my place or meet there directly. I can fit three people comfortably in my car and I have a roof rack if anyone needs to bring a hiking pole or any other gear. The drive should take about an hour and a half from the city. I am looking forward to getting out there again.
