I was telling my neighbor about the sourdough starter I kept alive for six weeks.
Turns out you can freeze the discard and use it later for pancakes.
We tried banana sourdough pancakes last weekend and they were surprisingly fluffy.
The texture reminded me of the ones my grandmother used to make, but tangier.
I think I'll experiment with a blueberry version next time.

I finally watched that documentary about deep-sea creatures and it blew my mind.
The anglerfish segment was bizarre but fascinating.
My cousin said the sound design was what made it so immersive.
