I was just thinking about what you said yesterday about the garden layout. Honestly I think starting with the raised beds near the south side makes the most sense because the sunlight there is really consistent throughout the day. My neighbor tried a similar approach last spring and the tomato yield was incredible. I have been looking at soil amendments and I think we should go with a mix of compost and peat moss for better drainage. Let me know what you think about the layout I sketched out. I can swing by this weekend if you want to walk the space together and finalize the plan. Also I found a great source for cedar planks that will hold up well. I am excited to get started on this project and see how it comes together. The weather has been perfect for planting and I think we have a good window coming up. Let me know when works for you and we can make it happen.
I also picked up a few starter plants from the local nursery and they look really healthy. The variety selection was better than I expected for this time of year. If you want I can share the contact info for the nursery.

I finally got around to watching that documentary you recommended last month and honestly it was even better than I expected. The cinematography was stunning and the storytelling really pulled me in from the first scene. I ended up rewatching several parts just to catch details I missed the first time. Have you seen any of the director earlier work I am thinking of checking out his filmography this weekend. Also I wanted to ask if you have had a chance to look at that book I lent you no rush at all just curious what you thought about the first few chapters. Let me know when you are free to grab coffee and chat about both. Oh and Zo8TCaZ9NuREPM6 I also came across another documentary series that you might like it is about urban farming and community gardens. The production quality is top notch and it features some really inspiring stories from all over the world. I think you would really enjoy the way they capture the human element.
The pacing of the series is excellent each episode builds on the last without feeling repetitive. I binged the first four episodes in one sitting and did not even realize how much time had passed.
