Hey, I finally checked out that trail you mentioned last weekend. It was even better than you described. The weather was perfect and the views from the top were incredible. I brought a small backpack with some snacks and water. qIlZhBRmk8 We took the longer loop trail and it took us about three hours. There were a few steep sections but nothing too crazy. I saw a deer near the creek about halfway through the hike. I'll definitely be going back again soon. Let me know if you want to come along next time. I've been trying to get outside more often on the weekends. It makes such a difference for my mood and energy levels during the week. Maybe we could make it a regular thing, every other Saturday or so.

So I ended up joining that book club Sarah was talking about at the party. I was a little hesitant at first because I usually don't love assigned reading, but it's actually been way more fun than I expected. We just finished a really interesting novel that I honestly never would have picked up on my own. The discussion last night got pretty deep-we ended up talking about the themes for almost two hours. Everyone has such different perspectives, which makes it way more engaging than just reading a book in a vacuum. They meet every other Tuesday at this little coffee shop downtown that has the best chai lattes. I think there are about twelve of us in the group, but usually only eight or nine make it to each meeting. It's really casual, no pressure to finish every chapter, which takes the stress out of it. If you're looking for something low-key to do, you should totally come to the next one as a guest. I think you'd really like the book they picked for next month.
