I finally got around to reading that sci-fi novel you mentioned last month. I have to say, the world-building in the first few chapters was a bit dense, but once I got past it, I couldn't put it down. The way the author describes the terraforming process is incredibly detailed. It reminded me a bit of that old series we used to watch, but way more grounded in actual physics, or at least a believable version of it. xFptO6BhHAe I borrowed a copy from the library, but I think this is one I'll actually buy to have on my shelf. Let me know if you have any other recommendations along those lines, I'm always looking for something new to dive into during the evenings.

You will not believe what happened over the weekend. I was trying to finally clear out that overgrown patch in the backyard, the one by the fence. I pulled up this big weed, and the entire root system came up completely clean, leaving this perfect little hollow in the ground. It was oddly satisfying. Anyway, a few minutes later, a robin literally landed right there, looked at me, and started pulling up worms from the freshly turned soil. It completely ignored me and just kept working the area. I stood there watching for like ten minutes while my gloves got all muddy. Nature is pretty wild when you stop to pay attention.
