So I got an email about the book club meeting this Saturday but I think there was a mix-up because the address it listed is for the old community center that closed two years ago. I tried replying to everyone but the thread got really messy really fast. I guess we need to figure out the correct location before Saturday morning. Let me know if you have Diane's number so I can text her directly and sort it out. I think she was the one who originally booked the room but maybe she forgot to update the details. Anyway, I hope your week is going well. I saw the photos from your trip up north and it looks like you had an amazing time. We should catch up properly soon. Also, I wanted to ask if you still have my camping lantern I lent you last fall because I'm planning a trip next month and I'll need it. No rush if you haven't had a chance to look for it yet. I know things have been busy on your end. Just let me know when you get a moment to check. Thanks a ton for helping sort this out. sKD2PVsmZv Hope to see you at the book club if we get the location figured out in time.

I finally decided to try learning the guitar this month and it has been quite an adventure so far. My fingers are sore from pressing down on the strings but I am slowly getting the hang of a few basic chords. I found this really helpful channel online that breaks down songs step by step which makes it feel less overwhelming. My goal is to be able to play a full song by the end of the summer maybe something simple like a folk tune or a classic rock ballad. I also borrowed a beginner's book from the library but honestly the video tutorials work better for me since I can see exactly where to place my fingers. My neighbor heard me practicing through the wall and knocked on my door to offer some tips because he plays in a band on weekends. Small world right. It was really nice of him and he showed me a couple of easy riffs that sound way harder than they actually are. I'm excited to keep practicing even if I'm not very good yet. It's just nice to have a new hobby that doesn't involve looking at a screen all day. Let me know if you have any song recommendations for a total beginner.
