hey yeah i finally got around to watching that documentary you mentioned last month. honestly i was skeptical at first because i usually don't go for nature docs but this one was really well done. the cinematography was incredible and the narration kept me engaged throughout. i ended up binge-watching the whole series over the weekend. have you seen the follow-up episode they released recently? i heard it covers some behind-the-scenes stuff that didn't make the final cut. anyway thanks for the recommendation i probably wouldn't have given it a shot otherwise. let me know if you find anything else worth watching i trust your taste more than most people's suggestions oZHiu6lAIG3t these days. also i finally finished assembling that bookshelf i kept putting off so that felt productive at least. hope your week is going well. oh and i tried that coffee shop you mentioned near the station the cold brew was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect for reading. i might make it a regular spot.

so i finally attempted that pasta recipe from the cooking blog you shared a while back. it turned out better than i expected honestly i was worried about the sauce consistency but it came together nicely. i added a bit extra garlic because you can never have too much garlic right. the fresh basil really made a difference too. i served it with a simple side salad and some crusty bread and it felt like a proper restaurant meal. my roommate even asked for seconds which is always a good sign. i'm thinking of trying the mushroom risotto next time since i have some arborio rice left over from another project. cooking has been a nice way to unwind after work lately it's kind of meditative in a weird way. anyway just thought i'd share the update since you were the one who sent me the link. let me know if you have any other recipes you've been enjoying lately. i also started a little herb garden on the windowsill so hopefully i'll have fresh herbs year round.
