I tried that new pasta recipe you sent me last week. It was actually really good, though I added a bit more garlic than it called for because you can never have too much garlic right? I paired it with a simple side salad and some crusty bread and it made for a perfect weeknight dinner. The sauce came together quicker than I expected which is always a win on busy days. I think next time I might toss in some mushrooms or spinach to bulk it up a bit more. Let me know if you have any other recipes like that one I am always looking for new things to try especially ones that don't take forever to make. Hope you are having a great week so far.
I also wanted to ask if you have tried fermenting your own vegetables yet. I started with a simple batch of pickles and they turned out surprisingly crunchy. It is a fun project and takes almost no active time once you get the brine right.

I finally finished reorganizing my garage this weekend and it feels amazing. I installed some new shelving units and labeled all the bins so I can actually find things now. It was a huge mess before but I feel like it completely changes how usable the space is. I also found some old camping gear in there that I forgot we had which was a nice surprise. We might plan a weekend trip sometime this fall to break it all in again. Anyway just wanted to share my small victory with you because I know you appreciate a good organization project. Hope everything is going well on your end.
On a completely different note, I have been getting into bird watching lately. There is a pair of cardinals that visit my backyard feeder every morning and they are so bright against the snow. It is surprisingly calming to just sit and watch them for a few minutes with a cup of coffee.
