I checked the trail maps for Red Mountain. Looks like the Eagle Loop is about 7.5 miles with a moderate incline. I think we should start early, maybe 6 AM, to beat the afternoon heat. I will bring the first aid kit and extra water filters. Let me know if you think we should bring trekking poles.
