Yes, I finally tried making sourdough from scratch and it actually worked out pretty well. I've been meaning to get to it for ages and last weekend I just went for it. The starter took about a week to get really active and bubbly. I fed it twice a day at first which felt like a lot of work but once it got going it was pretty straightforward. The first loaf came out a bit dense but the second one had a really nice open crumb and a decent crust. My family ate it faster than I expected so I'll need to make another batch soon. Thanks, Kim
