Yeah, I think Saturday works better than Sunday for the trail outing. The forecast looks clearer earlier in the day, so if we start around eight we can finish before the afternoon clouds roll in. I checked the trail conditions and they said the path is mostly dry with a few damp spots near the creek crossing. We should bring walking sticks for that section. I can handle the snacks and water if you want to bring the first aid kit and sunscreen. Let me know if you want to carpool - I can pick you up at seven thirty. We should also confirm how many people are coming so I pack enough supplies. I think it will be a great day out.

Thanks for sending the chapter notes last week. I think we should focus the discussion on the character development in the second half of the book, particularly how the main character's perspective shifts after the pivotal scene. I noticed some interesting parallels with the author's earlier work that might be worth bringing up. For the next meeting, should we rotate to someone else's place or keep it at the library? The library has that back room available on Thursday evenings now. Let me know what you think works best for everyone's schedule.
