Yeah I finally got around to trying that sourdough recipe you sent me last month. It took a couple of tries to get the starter right but once it was active the process was actually pretty straightforward. The first loaf came out a little dense but the second one had a really nice crumb and the crust was perfect. I added some rosemary and sea salt on top which gave it a nice savory touch. The kids devoured it with butter before it even cooled down completely. I think next time I'll try adding some olives or maybe sun-dried tomatoes. Let me know if you have any other bread recipes you'd recommend because I'm kind of hooked now. Also thanks again for the tip about using a dutch oven for baking 23WRp0Ya4QF it really made a difference in the texture.

I finally repotted that monstera you gave me and it's already putting out a new leaf. I was nervous about moving it to a bigger pot but it seems really happy now. The roots were starting to come out of the drainage holes so it was definitely time. I mixed some perlite into the soil to improve drainage and I think that's helping. The new leaf has more fenestrations than the older ones which I read is a sign that the plant is getting enough light. I've been keeping it near the east window and watering about once a week when the top inch feels dry. Anyway just wanted to share because I know you were curious how it was doing. Also that propagation station you recommended arrived today and it looks great on the windowsill.
